Artyom Liss is an experienced newsroom leader and media development specialist with a particular interest in Eastern Europe and a focus on the Belarusian and Russian markets. His expertise covers editorial management, broadcast-to-digital transitions and digital audio. He is also an award-winning broadcaster and on-air analyst, with a specialism in former Soviet Union countries. He covered the region extensively for the BBC, before taking on the management of the BBC’s European region. Since 2018, he has worked in media development, training and consulting with most independent Belarusian media outlets.
