Gülsin Harman

Gülsin Harman is an Istanbul-based journalist who frequently contributes to The New York Times and BBC Monitoring. She has worked in cross-functional teams for enterprise stories, research projects and building products. After a Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University in 2020, she was selected to join the Product Immersion Program at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. At NewsLabTurkey, she mentored local journalists in product thinking and narrative journalism. Her team developed a product prototype in the ICFJ’s News Innovation Lab to foster engagement and trust in journalism. She has also investigated coordinated digital harassment of journalists for the International Press Institute.
