Lidija Pisker is a freelance journalist and researcher whose work has been published by the Guardian, BBC, openDemocracy, Euronews and numerous other international media outlets. She has authored several media research studies for the South East European Network for Professionalization of Media (SEENPM) and IREX’s Media Sustainability Index. Pisker is the winner of UN and UNICEF journalism prizes for journalistic contributions to tolerance, inclusiveness and prevention of discrimination. She is also the recipient of a special plaque under the Bosnia and Herzegovina journalism award Srđan Aleksić for professional reporting on marginalised groups and the development of socially responsible journalism. www.lidijapisker.com
