Madalina Ciobanu is an independent consultant who works with mission-driven news organisations, foundations and NGOs to articulate and serve the needs of their communities. She is based in London, UK. Before joining SembraMedia, she was a project manager at the European Journalism Centre (EJC), a Dutch foundation where she designed and delivered programs that provided up to €5 million in funding and support for journalists and news organisations in Europe. Prior to that, she was a senior reporter at journalism.co.uk, covering the intersection of media and technology.
