Miguel coordinates the work SembraMedia’s team of ambassadors do in their communities while supporting the entrepreneurial journalism ecosystem in the region.
He holds a master’s degree in Digital Media: Technology and Cultural Form, with Distinction from Goldsmiths, University of London. He is currently pursuing his PhD studies at the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University in Australia. Here, he also works as a Teaching Associate in the School of Media, Film & Journalism, where he shares his experience and knowledge in media research. In recent years, he has collaborated on several SembraMedia initiatives, such as SembraEducativo, Escuela Virtual de SembraMedia, Red de Profes de periodismo emprendedor, Inflection Point International Study, and Project Oasis.
